• Due to insurance reasons, media credentials are very limited and available only to approved applicants.
• All other types of motorsport or advertising media accreditation is deemed void during all and any Premier Events owned and/or operated events.

Released Parties means Premier Events NZ Ltd, its parent, subsidiary and affiliate companies, the landowner and venue operator, and their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents and volunteers.
Releasing Parties means the undersigned and the undersigned’s spouse, children, parents, guardians, heirs, next of kin, legal or personal representatives, executors, administrators, successors and assigns.
Event means any activity or service organised, conducted, permitted or approved by Premier Events NZ Ltd.
Venue means the circuit and all associated land, facilities and property at which the Event is held.

I, the undersigned, agree as follows in favour of the Released Parties:

1.      Eligibility: I confirm that I am at least eighteen 18 years of age at the time of the Event and will not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any substance that may impair my ability while attending the Event. I confirm that I am physically fit and medically able to safely access restricted areas of the Event.
2.      Compliance and Safety: I agree to familiarise myself with and comply with all safety regulations, instructions and directions issued by Premier Events NZ Ltd, venue staff or officials. High visibility vest must be worn at all times and supplied by myself. I will not access the circuit or restricted areas without express permission from the Media Liaison or authorised track staff. I will not obstruct officials, emergency services, recovery vehicles or event operations at any time.
3.      Conduct: I agree to conduct myself in a safe and professional manner and comply with all applicable laws. Unsafe behaviour, interference with event operations or breach of these conditions may result in immediate removal and revocation of accreditation, without refund and with possible refusal of future access.
4.      Assumption of Risk: I acknowledge that motorsport and track-based activities are inherently dangerous and involve significant risk of injury, disability or death. I voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with attending and accessing restricted areas of the Event.
5.      Release and Indemnity: To the fullest extent permitted by New Zealand law, I release, indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses, including legal costs, arising out of or in connection with my attendance at or participation in the Event, including; Access to the circuit or restricted areas, The condition of the Venue, Mechanical failure of vehicles, Loss of or damage to my equipment or personal property, Damage to property and/or Claims brought by third parties.
This indemnity applies regardless of cause, including where such claims are caused or contributed to by negligence, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
6.      Insurance: I acknowledge that Premier Events NZ Ltd does not provide insurance cover for my personal injury, equipment or property. I am responsible for arranging my own insurance.
7.      No Commercial Touting: Unauthorised selling, advertising, marketing or commercial promotion at the Event is strictly prohibited.
8.      Event Branding: In consideration of being granted Media Accreditation, I agree to refer to the Event using its correct official name in all published content.
9.      Media Supply: In consideration of Media Accreditation, I agree to supply a minimum of 100 high resolution digital images, minimum 4MB each, without watermarks, to Premier Events NZ Ltd free of charge within 14 days of the Event. If filming, a reasonable selection of video clips may be supplied instead. Images may be provided via Google Drive, Dropbox or similar to kaz@premierevents.co.nz.
Premier Events NZ Ltd may use supplied content for promotional and commercial purposes without further approval or compensation. Failure to supply content may result in refusal of future accreditation.
10.    Independent Status: Nothing in this agreement creates any employment, contractor, agency or partnership relationship between myself and Premier Events NZ Ltd. I attend the Event as an independent media representative at my own risk.
11.    Incident Content: No images, video or commentary relating to any accident, injury or serious incident at the Event may be published without prior written approval from Premier Events NZ Ltd. Breach may result in immediate revocation of accreditation and refusal of future access.
12.    Enforcement and Severability: These provisions are intended to confer a benefit on and be enforceable by each of the Released Parties under the Contracts Privity Act 1982. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force.
13.    Acknowledgement: By submitting this form, I confirm that I have read, understood and voluntarily agree to these conditions.

FOR EVENTS HELD AT NAPA AUTO PARTS DRAGWAY, MEREMERE:
Meremere Dragway Media Consent & Indemnity Declaration

I certify the below information provided is true and correct, and that by completing and submitting this application form, I accept the terms and conditions of issue of NAPA Auto Parts Dragway and Meremere Dragway Inc. Media Accreditation.

Media Event Waiver details:

1. My accepted entry into the Meeting and Events at NAPA Auto Parts Dragway Meremere will not be transferred to another entrant.
2. I am in an appropriate physical condition to participate in the Event, given the known parameters of the Event (such as the length, time, physical demands and environmental context).
3. I have taken medical advice on any pre-existing medical conditions, and confirm that it is medically safe for me to participate in the Event.
4. I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the Event. I fully realise the dangers of participating in the Event in above mentioned capacity, and fully assume the risks associated with my participation and my wellbeing and safety during and after the Event. I understand and acknowledge that the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers) provide no warranties, regarding my wellbeing and safety.
5. I understand and agree that situations may arise during the Event, which may be beyond the immediate control of the Event organisers (including all officials, Sponsors and event volunteers).
6. I will participate in the Event, in a manner that does not endanger either me or others.
7. I agree that to the extent permissible by law, the Event organisers (including all officials and event volunteers), the Sponsors and other parties associated with the Event, have no liability to me whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss, (including, but not limited to injury or death) sustained by me during or in any way related to my participation in the Event.
8. I authorise the use of my name, voice, picture and information on this entry form in any broadcast, telecast, promotion, advertising, and in any other way, without payment to me or any other form of compensation.
9. I agree to comply with the rules, and regulations pertaining to the Event.
10. I agree to follow all reasonable safety instructions provided to me by the Event organisers, (including all officials and event volunteers) before, during and after the Event.
11. I consent to receiving medical treatment in the event of illness or injuries suffered during or immediately after the Event.
12. I will not use any photos, videos or recordings, of any kind, for commercial gain or reward without express written authority from the Event organisers
13. I acknowledge that all photos, videos and recordings remain the property of the event organisers.
14. All media personnel will supply their own ORANGE hi-vis vest.
15. I agree provide a minimum of 100 high resolution (min 4 mb each), digital images without watermarks, of the event to Premier Events free of charge and license to use the images in future event promotions. If you are filming, you can send through a small selection of video clips instead. These must be supplied within 14 days of the event. If it is not done, access to future events hosted by Premier Events may be declined. Images can be sent via Google Drive, Drop Box or similar to kaz@premierevents.co.nz.
