FAQ
The easiest way to enter is online through our website. Click Enter in the menu, or use the Enter button at the top of this page. If you can’t see it, entries aren’t open yet.
Entries usually close 5 days before the event.
Please make sure all forms are filled out correctly and that you use the exact name shown on your driver’s licence. Get in early while early bird pricing is available for the cheapest rates.
On-the-day entries may be available if the event does not sell out beforehand.

Entries cover one vehicle and one driver only for the day(s) and activity/activities you have entered.
Passengers, second drivers, garage spots and any additional extras can be purchased separately if required.
Entries close at 9:00am sharp on the Tuesday prior to the event.
This allows us time to finalise all paperwork and gate lists. No changes or additional entries can be made after this time.
Late entries may be accepted on the day during Registration hours only, and are subject to availability.
You may change either the Vehicle OR the Driver at Registration on the day.
$60 admin fee applies - cash only.
You cannot change both the Driver and Vehicle under the same entry. A new entry is required.
Vehicle Breakage During Event
If your vehicle breaks during the event, you may bring a different vehicle the following day.
$100 admin fee applies - cash only.
This covers a new safety check, re-registration and updated event documentation.
Alternatively, you may:
• Attend as a spectator using your driver wristband
• Drive another correctly registered vehicle
Credential Rules
Do not transfer entrant stickers, wristbands or credentials between vehicles or drivers.
Spot checks are carried out in the pits, staging lanes and at track entry points, with credentials checked against registration records.
Any vehicle or driver found using transferred, tampered or incorrect credentials will be immediately removed without refund. A lifetime event ban may apply to all drivers and vehicles involved.

A minimum restricted driver licence is required for all track sessions and driver entries, and must be presented on the day.
Temporary paper licences are accepted.
Burnout Only entries require a minimum of a Restricted licence.
MSNZ competition licences and equivalent overseas licences are also accepted.

You do not need a WOF or registration to enter.
Our safety check team assess different requirements depending on whether your vehicle has a WOF or registration, so please make sure you enter the correct lane at Registration and review the safety requirements listed on this page.
Any vehicles without a WOF or registration must be towed to the event.
Different sessions require different safety gear. Please refer to the Safety Gear Checklist on this page for full details.
Requirements vary between tracks and may change from time to time, so be sure to check before the event, even if you’re a regular.
If sessions require a helmet, it must be motorsport approved or provide equivalent full-face protection. Motocross, BMX and shorty/half-shell helmets are not permitted. Limited exceptions may apply for burnouts or gymkhana, however these helmet types should be avoided when purchasing as they may not be accepted at future events.

All drivers, whether 3-day or not, can complete Registration, Safety Check and Driver Briefing on Friday afternoon from 12pm–5pm.
We strongly recommend getting this done on Friday to avoid the Saturday morning rush.
Please note: if you enter the venue on Friday, you must complete your driver briefing and collect your driver wristband. This is required for entry on Saturday. If you don’t complete this, you may be required to pay again on Saturday.
Any passengers entering the venue with you on Friday will need to pay the standard spectator fee, as Friday is an active event day.
Our events generally operate under a No Passouts policy.
Drivers with a valid wristband may leave and return if needed (e.g. for fuel), but only from midday onwards, as traffic is one-way into the venue during the morning (except in emergencies).
Passengers must remain inside the event. If you leave, you may be required to pay again to re-enter. If you need to step out briefly (e.g. to grab something from your car), please speak to our gate or security staff first.
Yes they can! Simply visit the Passenger Wristband desk on the day, fill out an indemnity form and purchase a passenger wristband for $10. This allows you to ride as a passenger in any vehicle for the day the wristband is purchased.
If you are under 18 years old, a parent or caregiver will need to sign on your behalf.
Please check the safety gear list above to see which sessions allow passengers.
Passenger Wristbands are seperate to your gate entry.

Want to drive your mate’s car without doing a full entry?
Second Driver wristbands will be available over the weekend for $150*, plus spectator fees.
Head to Driver Briefing and complete the form to get sorted.
Your wristband includes gate entry for the following day/s, so the spectator fee is only payable once.
*Price subject to change.
Pit spaces are not formally allocated, so please respect spaces that are clearly in use. If you see tools, parts, wheels or other gear in a spot, it likely belongs to someone currently out on track.
Pit spaces are roughly the size of a standard car park - make sure there’s enough room for everyone and don’t block anyone in.
Please follow directions from our team if asked to move or adjust your setup.
Let’s all show a bit of courtesy and keep things running smoothly for everyone.
No support/tow vehicles or trailers are to be parked in the pits.
It’s the driver’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle is up to standard before arriving at the event.
If your vehicle fails, you’ll have the opportunity to fix the issue. Most failures are quick and easy to sort, such as missing roll cage padding, no battery clamp, or no catch can (if required).
All re-checks must be completed during Registration times. We will hold onto your event credentials until the issue has been resolved and your vehicle passes.
If you’re unable to fix the issue, you’re welcome to bring a different vehicle (see Change of Vehicle info below), or use your entry as a driver only and drive other vehicles.
Please note, no refunds will be given if your vehicle fails the safety check or cannot be rectified in time.

Pit parking is available to registered entrants only.
Due to limited space in the pits and the size of the event, all non-entered vehicles must have a Support Vehicle sticker to be parked inside the pits. NO TRAILERS ARE TO BE PARKED IN THE PITS!
Support Vehicle passes can be purchased with your online entry. Numbers are strictly limited and sell out every year, so pre-booking is strongly recommended.
If you have a tow vehicle, trailer or support vehicle and do not wish to purchase a pass, free parking is available - follow our teams instructions on the day.
Any vehicle parked in the pits without a valid Entrant or Support Vehicle sticker will be removed.
Yes, we have plenty of free trailer and support vehicle parking available at the event. Please follow our team’s directions on the day.
Under no circumstances are trailers permitted in the pits. Any trailers found in the pits will be removed.
Only support vehicles with a valid sticker are permitted to park in the pits.
All track sessions are subject to a strict 95dB noise limit. This limit is monitored and enforced via the track directly throughout the event.
If your vehicle exceeds 95dB, you may be removed from track activities without refund. It is the driver’s responsibility to ensure their vehicle complies before entering the circuit.
Vehicles without a muffler are not permitted in standard track sessions and may only participate in designated Burnout Sessions.
Please ensure your exhaust system is compliant prior to the event to avoid disappointment on the day.
Our Hampton Downs event runs rain or shine.
Some competition elements may be affected by weather. Roll Racing may be cancelled or adjusted if conditions aren’t safe. If rain is forecast later in the day, we may bring these sessions forward or shift them to another day where possible.
Safety is our number one priority at all of our events.
All events are strictly alcohol free. Vehicles may be searched on entry, and any alcohol found will be confiscated and disposed of.
Random breath testing may take place during track sessions. Any driver returning a reading over 0.00 may have their driver pass removed.
While you’re at it, please do not bring any of the following:
- Pets (and do not leave them in vehicles)
- Alcohol
- Gang patches
- Weapons
- Illegal substances
- Drones
This is a family-friendly event, and security will be onsite to help keep everyone safe.
Please refer to the bottom of this page for our Change of Vehicle and Refund/Cancellation Policy.
